Part Family

Base plates, frame plates
& large irregular parts.

Large plate components often fail at interfaces, not at the outer profile. Hole position, datums, flatness, machining stock, bevels, identification and packing should be reviewed as one delivered-part requirement.

DatumsCritical dimensions identified
HolesThermal vs machined route reviewed

Define the interfaces that matter.

Instead of one site-wide tolerance promise, the RFQ should identify the features whose position, size or finish affect assembly.

Primary datumsState how the part will be located or assembled so the drawing review can focus on the right references.
Hole patternPosition, diameter, slot geometry, countersink or thread requirements determine whether cutting alone is sufficient.
Flatness / straightnessLong or large parts may need cutting sequence, leveling or machining review before a value is committed.
Edge conditionBevels, cleaned edges, grinding or surface preparation should be listed as delivered-state requirements.
A large-frame-plate production video can illustrate the type of work. Industry, dimensions and downstream use are confirmed from project information rather than inferred from appearance alone.
